English: CIN: ITYXA Magnificent and modern one-bedroom apartment of about 50 sqm located on the 3rd floor - with lift - and inserted in the elegant setting of a historic building in the center, which is located a stone's throw from Piazza Santo Stefano and the most interesting monuments of Bologna. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the apartment to explain how everything works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, our staff is available to address any requests or concerns. The flat was completely renovated in September 2022, paying the utmost attention to the choice of materials and finishes, which are all of an excellent standard. Air conditioning is available in all rooms, while the large windows, overlooking the typical roofs of Bologna, make the rooms extremely pleasant. Even if the property is located along Via Santo Stefano, one of the main routes of Bologna, maximum tranquility is guaranteed by the views towards the internal courtyard, where the eye is allowed to stretch to the first hills surrounding the city. The elegant wooden ceilings have been painted white, so as to fill the rooms with light, keeping the warm nuances of the wood only on the main beams. The modern furnishings play on the contrasts between white and gray to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. As soon as you enter the entrance, a small anteroom leads guests to the living area or bedroom. The living room furniture includes a 3-person sofa complete with chaise longue, a single pouf bed (80 x 195 cm) and a practical dining table for 3 people, located close to the open kitchen peninsula. In front of the relaxation area, an equipped wall houses the 32" flat screen Smart TV. The kitchen is tailor-made to maximize space, while remaining comfortable and functional: it has all the comforts, including electric oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. The large bedroom, characterized by the white color, is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a large wardrobe with 6 doors. Guests have access to a comfortable workstation for smart working. The bathroom is full of character, thanks to its cement tiles, and is equipped with a large walk-in shower. It is a comfortable and elegant environment where you can relax while taking care of yourself. Two of the most beautiful squares in Bologna are within walking distance: the square of the Basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi and Piazza Santo Stefano, with the beautiful Basilica known as the Seven Churches. In the immediate vicinity, there are points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the famous Teatro dell'Opera Comunale, the characteristic Jewish ghetto, the Garisenda tower and the Asinelli tower (a 2-minute walk, as well as such as Piazza Maggiore). The most famous shopping streets in Bologna, Via d'Azeglio and Via Farini (with its prestigious Galleria Cavour, kingdom of the high fashion brands of Made in Italy), are located less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Also a few steps from the property there is Piazza Aldrovandi, with its restaurants and the market, where you can always find fresh meat and fish, as well as seasonal fruit and vegetables from the best local producers. Public transportation: Being the center of Bologna, the area is well served by public transport. Along Via Santo Stefano you can take buses to reach the fair, the hospitals and the train station. Parking: The apartment is located within the limited traffic area (ZTL) and a ticket is requested. Paid parking spaces are available nearby: there is one in Via San Petronio Vecchio and a second in Vicolo San Damiano 3/3. It is possible to obtain temporary residence and a pass to drive around the historic center only for stays longer than 3 months. For shorter stays, access is guaranteed only for 3 days a month (not consecutive, or for 4 consecutive days) upon payment of a specific permit.
