Property
Live an Italian dream in this romantic villa on the island of Stromboli - the perfect peaceful environment for you to focus and unwind surrounded by nature and with a stunning view.
SHARED SPACES
The villa was built to incorporate all sorts of particular requirements that make this stay very comfortable in all seasons while still keeping the island’s traditions and offering shared spaces curated to make the guests feel the vibrations of a place in harmony.
There’s a corner for summer mornings, away from the sun, in the shade cooled by a nice breeze coming across from a northern window and a southern door.
The stay presents you with not one but two large shared terraces, each one with its own unique essence. The first one is for when you want to soak in the grandiosity of the volcano - its black smoke in the daylight or the red sparkle of fire thrown up above in the black sky at night. The other terrace is the one from where you can get lost into the sea, with a view to Strombolicchio (a little deserted island) and beyond. Both areas have tables and sitting for you to work or have a relaxed moment.
Last but certainly not least, the magnificent garden connects all the houses and their guests. It’s the only garden in Stromboli with a green lawn, a real luxury on an island where water has to be carried in by a boat.
COMMUNITY & ACTIVITIES
When staying in this beautiful Stay, you’ll have your own private villa, but that doesn’t mean you can’t experience leisure in community. Make the first step in getting to know the other guests by organising a communal lunch in the beautiful garden or a get together in one of the terraces to watch the sunset and share good conversations!
In terms of activities in the surroundings, you can always adventure yourself into hiking up the volcano, which is a spectacle in itself, or partaking in one of the many water sports available as well.
VISION
The key with this property, and life on a small volcanic island with a population of 400+ , no cars nor artificial lights in the streets, is really all about authenticity, and community. Everyone knows everyone and is there to help and support one another. At this stay, you’ll live by the rules of nature, in a beautiful mediterranean environment, really one with the stars and the moon in the night when no artificial lights pollute the brilliant darkness. Finally, because it is rather remote and cut off from the hustle and bustle, it is a great place to isolate yourself (alone or with your friends/colleagues) and really get some quality work done.

Flora and fauna
The formation of the main volcanic Aeolian arch took place during the last years (second the last datings made by volcanologists) and, unlike many Mediterranean islands, total autonomy in relation to land nearby, with which the archipelago seems not to ever come into
FLORA
The vascular flora, characteristic of the regions of the central Mediterranean, includes 900 species. It is not difficult to see exotic species on the Aeolian territory, such as eucalyptus, acacia and alnus. On the contrary, the presence of Pinus is the result, more or less recent, of reforestation. The floristic population of the Aeolians is a compound of the plants spread in the Mediterranean area with the predominance of the herbaceous plants, which constitute around 80%, the remaining 20% is made of wooden plants.
The autochthonous forests, intact from human manipulation, can be admired in all their beauty on Stromboli, in the Fico Grande village, on Vulcano in Gelso area, in Lipari in the zone of Pirrera, and besides, in areas which cannot be easily reached by man. This factor permitted the ecosystem to rest unchanged in its original form, as it was difficult for men to have access to these areas. These forests are mostly a compound of holm oaks, heathers, honeysuckles, aniellos, and strawberry trees.
FAUNA
As far as wildlife is concerned, there are small mammals like the wild rabbit. The rich avifauna is characterized by birds which usually cross the archipelago, among which the Cory's Shearwater and Eleonora's Falcon, but also by small birds of the Mediterranean maquis like the Sardinian Warbler, marine predators like the Herring's Gull, and Kestrels, skilled hunters in open spaces and bushes.
Remarkable in general is the diversity of birds, which in addition to sedentary species include a large number of migratory species, the presence of salty pond Punta Lingua, in Salina, considered a Special levelProtection Area at Community, offers at shorebirds a environment eligible to stop during spring and autumn.

EXPERIENCE THE LOCAL LIFE
Life moves slowly on the island and everything works around a very tight and small community. The stay as a whole is really connected to the local life and encourages you to be the same way, by getting to know the local family that takes care of the houses when the owner is away or even stopping to buy fresh produce directly from the source - Stromboli’s fishermen cast nets late at night from small wooden boats, returning at dawn to sell their catch along the black-sand beaches.
You’ll be delighted with the local gastronomy at Ristorante da Zurro (20 min away by foot), where Chef Frank Utano, a former fisherman, hand-picks seafood every morning. He tosses anchovies, locally grown garlic, cherry tomatoes, and hot chili peppers onto fresh pasta for his signature dish, spaghetti alla Stromboliana.
If you’re a fan of sour flavors, feel free to pick a lemon from the lemon trees and bougainvillea plants that thrive in Stromboli’s nutrient-rich, volcanic soil. Stromboli is one of the few continuously active volcanoes where visitors can see eruptions up close, yet in relative safety. It erupts about every 15 to 20 minutes and its nighttime fireworks have earned it the nickname “Lighthouse of the Mediterranean.”
A CHANGE IN YOUR DIGITAL NOMAD LIFE
This stay is located on a small island, off the beaten path, with a tight community of locals. It is precisely curated for you to have a focused and introspective workation, so that you can work and create at peace among the mesmerizing views and nature.
Stromboli is one of the smallest islands in Italy, so the social events that do take place are not the large gatherings one would expect from a mainland Italian location. “Otto a mare” is a great coworking café to go to, for when you want to get away from the house, just 5 minutes away by foot.
