Penthouse via Matteo Bartoli, Cecchignola - Giuliano Dalmata, Rome

Giuliano Dalmata Penthouse Giuliano Dalmata adjacent Bosco del Fosso della Cecchignola Via Matteo Bartoli Panoramic penthouse in complex with concierge gardens swimming pool tennis court uncovered parking space, 6 floor of about 35 square meters. comprises entrance hall, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, terrace of about 130 square meters. furnished people referenced maximum one couple, condominium euro 80 lease euro 700 CASSANO IMM.RE The Giuliano-Dalmata District was born as a Worker Village E42, used to house the workers engaged in the preparation of the Universal Exhibition of Rome (which originated the neighborhood EUR, renamed in 1965 to the Europa district). With the outbreak of the war the workers left their homes which, after a brief Anglo-American occupation, remained abandoned. In 1947, twelve families of Julian refugees settled in the village, renaming it Villagio Giuliano. The official inauguration and the delivery of the first housing units to the exiles (the dormitories of the former workers' village renovated and adapted to small apartments), takes place on 7 November 1948 in the presence of the then Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Hon. Andreotti and Ms De Gasperi, consort of the then Prime Minister in office. On that occasion there was the first marriage of the community. Armando Chioggia, born in 1921, married the Roman Fernanda Tombesi in the small chapel of the village, almost as if he wanted to officially support the union of the Rijeka, Istrian and Dalmatian people with the welcoming city of Rome. In 1955, following the arrival of about two thousand Istrian and Dalmatian exiles, it took its present name. On 4 November 1961, at the behest of the Opera Profughi, a monument consisting of a karst rock with the inscription "AI CADUTI GIULIANI E DALMATI" and the coats of arms of the Julian-Dalmatian cities of Pola, Fiume and Zara was inaugurated on Via Laurentina. On 10 February 2008, on the occasion of the celebration of the fourth day of remembrance, a memorial monument for the victims of the massacres of the sinkholes was inaugurated on Largo Vittime delle Foibe.
