The elevated position of the village provides panoramic views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding hills and forests offer numerous trails for hiking and nature walks. The closest restaurant is a 1-minute walk away and there are several supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. The village is a great base from which to explore other charming towns around Lake Maggiore, such as Stresa (a 12-minute drive), Baveno (a 13-minute drive), and Verbania (a 20-minute drive). These towns offer attractions, including botanical gardens, historic villas and vibrant markets.
