It consists of a spacious living room, a dining room, a a studio, a bedroom, a sitting area with sofa bed, a kitchen and two bathrooms. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and are provided with bed linens and towels. The apartment is located on the second floor of one of the most elegant mansions that embellish the very central, historical street of Via Ugo Bassi. We are perfectly located with just a stone's throw away from the eventful Piazza Maggiore. The entire condominium has been recently renovated whilst keeping the atmosphere of the Art Nouveau building intact, which at this very moment is amazingly fresh and modern. There are no architectural barriers within and the apartment is comfortably accessible by elevator. The apartment features stylish, original Venetian laminate throughout and it's characterised with a stunning Bolognian traditional ancient palace design and finish. Each room conveniently has its own air-conditioning system. The atmosphere and environment resemble that of a contemporary New York photography studio; this space has strategic white walls which bring out the new-age exclusive furnishings which are accredited to the designer label of Gavina. The large windows allow the space to be illuminated at all times, as it faces the quaint, medieval landscape of the historical heart of Bologna. Upon entering you will find yourself in the large living area, which is composed of three elegant rooms. The first dining room space features an eye-catching POP scene, where a classic boardroom table and its comfortable seating are surrounded by avant-garde mannequins that stand among piles of art and design publications. The second room is devoted to the relaxation of the guest. On the black lacquered console, the multimedia system consists of a 50" TV, with the possibility of 3D viewing (using the supplied glasses), and a beautiful Bluetooth speaker for music. In addition to a comfortable sofa bed (120 x 200 cm), the living room is equipped with an additional sofa for two seaters and a glass table for 6, with elegant seating. The living room also offers a third room, more intimate and dominated by white colour, whence, along with a chest of drawers, there is a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) made of dark gray fabric and a designer coat rack. The evening area is composed of two contemporary bedrooms, one has a double bed, a 32" TV, a clothes rack and a bedside table; the second bedroom is furnished with two single beds (which can be joined together upon request) and a big wardrobe. The kitchen is furnished with a breakfast table for 2 people. The wall cabinets are beautifully custom-made and they house the dishwasher, refrigerator and a washing machine. The rental price includes the initial and the final cleaning, the rent, the condominium expenses, Italian taxes (television and garbage), WiFi internet and bills. We are precisely located in the middle of the old medieval city. Piazza Maggiore is the main square of Bologna and is encircled by the most important buildings of the city. The most ancient is Palazzo Podesta, which dates back to 1200 and is surmounted by the Tower dell'Arengo, which by the ringing of its bells gestures all the people in the vicinity to gather together. The Palazzo di Re Enzo is behind it and is renowned for its pedestrianized quadrivium, it is surmounted by a groined vault with special the acoustic properties. Palazzo d'Accursio, a the monumental architectural ensemble of fourteenth century, is currently home to the City of Bologna; then we find the Basilica of San Petronio which is a stunning example of Italian Gothic architecture. Parking: The apartment is within the restricted traffic area (ZTL) and an access ticket is requested. You may park in the street, on the places indicated with blue stripes, free of charge on Sundays and every night from 20:00 to 8:00; and upon payment (red parking meter) during the day.
