Venice Dorso Duro - San Barnaba Campo de San Basegio
Wandering in the heart of Venice, in the iconic San Marco district, in Campo San Maurizio we hear lyrical music echoing through the streets. Following it, we find ourselves in a small square overlooking the canal, away from the tourist flows but no less pleasant to the eye. We take the door of the condominium which still has a strong residential feel and go up to the first floor. The quiet and warmth of a house that is the protagonist of happy events welcomes us. From the entrance we explore the north side of the house, with the sturdy wrought iron and glass table, ideal for hosting at least six guests, and the living room with mirrored sofa and armchairs, ideal places for stimulating conversations. From a corner of the living room we find the way to the kitchen, one of those long and narrow ones, which can be closed with a sliding door, heirs of the most worthy Venetian home cooking tradition. Oven, refrigerator and dishwasher support full sets of dishes and cookware, ready for the stove. We return towards the entrance, and enter the bedroom with en suite bathroom, second in size, but perfect for containing two single beds and two large wardrobes, excellent for offering privacy to your guests. The music starts again, we go back to the living room to hear it better... we notice a sliding door, the result of that craftsmanship that made Venice great. We open it and find the master bedroom, with en suite bathroom complete with tub and shower. We look out of the glass door next to the bed and arrive on the terrace, perfect for hosting a small table to give a valuable view to your meals or for an informal aperitif, punctuated by the music offered by the conservatory, located right in the canal opposite. San Marco is the heart of the city of Venice, the best known and most prestigious district, from every point you are within walking distance of both Piazza San Marco and the Teatro della Fenice. This area is also very well served by all the Vaporetto lines, and by the gondola ferry, it is also possible to reach any corner of Venice in less than ten minutes. The property is located in the San Samuele/Santo Stefano area, the most residential part of San Marco. Far from tourist flows and enriched by numerous museums and galleries, it is home to Palazzo Grassi and Palazzo Fortuny, among others.
